1PointFive, a development company formed by Oxy Low Carbon Ventures, is utilizing Carbon Engineering’s technology and developing what is expected to be the world’s largest Direct Air Capture (DAC) facility. 1PointFive has contracted with Worley for Front End Engineering Design services on the project. Located in the Permian Basin, U.S., this facility will capture one million tons of CO2 from the air each year when complete, so it can be permanently and safely stored deep underground in geological formations.
