The Port of Pajaritos in Coatzacoalcos , will be the venue in which the energy ministry (Sener) and the private sector will invest 2 billion 500 million pesos for the construction of a terminal for storage of ethane , confirmed Herman Leonardo Deutsch Espino, owner of the Infrastructure and Transportation Unit of the Interoceanic Corridor of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec (CIIT).

This will be one of the 32 economic reactivation projects announced on October 6 by the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, to face the crisis caused by the Coronavirus pandemic and to strengthen the industrial zone of southern Veracruz .
