Lattice Industries, in conjunction with the MaaS (Mobility-As-A-Service) initiative in the Bay Area, is developing a self-sustaining, interconnectible and interoperable centralized data exchange and clearinghouse facility at GoMentum Station in Concord, California.
The development includes the Lattice Regional Data Exchange, a membership-based data marketplace for public transportation and private OEMs to trade standardized data-as-a-commodity (DaaC) contracts. This centralized data interchange will enable real-time data sharing and offset counter-party risk through institutionally traded contracts.
The Lattice Regional Data Exchange in Contra Costa County is a P3 project focused on facilitating autonomous driving system data-sharing between public and private members, creating a P3 business structure. The Exchange, through its clearing and settlement services, offers a commercialization component to the publics data assets - a true return on investment.
