A Green Mini-Grid Sandbox project

A Green Mini-Grid Sandbox project

On 11 August 2019, Electricity Generation Authority Thailand (EGAT) signed a partnership with Electrolyser Enapter manufacturer to promote Thailand's hydrogen production. Both companies act as carbon-free energy carriers in the country with the use of green hydrogen gas.

Mini-Grids are self-sufficient electrical power systems operating independently from the central grid infrastructure. EGAT and Enapter will develop a Green Mini-Grid Sandbox Project at EGAT, and they aim at deploying this technology throughout and potentially beyond Thailand following its successful establishment.
